About Us

Why study Zoology?

Zoology, a branch of Life science, covers a spectrum of subjects such as the study of invertebrates, chordates, cell biology, biochemistry, genetics, molecular biology, evolution, animal behaviour, microbiology, and immunology, complemented with appropriate lab skills.

Students studying Zoology engage in a wide range of topics, from the cellular structure and functions that constitute animal life to their anatomy and physiology, reproduction and development, as well as their evolutionary processes and behaviour.

This program prepares students to fulfil various societal roles, including positions as educators, researchers in academic and biotech settings, biological data analysts, wildlife biologists, zoo keepers, entrepreneurs, curators of natural history museums, laboratory technicians, and water quality analysts.

Vision

  • To empower students with teaching and research skills in life sciences.

Mission
